Lunchtime with The Spoonfeds

The Spoonfeds – Tim, Charles, Anthony, John and Philip

We are a men's A Capella group singing a range of songs from barbershop through traditional folk to arrangements of more modern songs – whatever we can get our hands on really. After being thrown together to sing a couple of songs at a Shaftesbury Arts Centre Cabaret evening, we had such fun singing together that we have kept it going – not, as some have suggested, as an excuse to get to the pub . This is our first performance outside the confines of the Arts Centre so we are getting very excited and practising like mad. For our first cabaret evening we needed a name to perform under. Anthony jokingly suggested 'The Spoonfeds' and like it or not we are now stuck with it. Tim and Anthony will soon be appearing in 'Wind in the Willows' at Shaftesbury Arts Centre; Philip plays with the Town Silver Band as well as performing on stage – his last outing was in 'Into The Woods' with Milborne Port Opera; Charles has sung and performed on many stages most recently  in 'The Beggars Opera' at the Arts Centre; and John is usually found at the Arts Centre in charge of all things technical but his love of singing has finally drawn him out into the light. We hope you enjoy our varied choice of songs.
